The Vice Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) is encouraging all incoming students to take part in “Welcome Days.” This event is taking place virtually on Thursday and Friday, September 14 & 15.

Over these two days, the Service of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism will introduce the university to new incoming students. The event programming on Thursday begins at 1:00 p.m. Central European Time, and continues until 2:30 p.m. with a photography contest. Then on Friday, the event commences at 9:30 a.m. CET with a workshop to learn to manage university documents and procedures, before finishing at 11:35 a.m.

UMH Welcome Days offers various workshops for incoming students to learn about the services offered by the university, they will be informed about possibilities for finding housing accommodations, and university facilities are featured, as well as sporting & cultural opportunities. Incoming students can also discover the Club Erasmus, the Buddy Program, and other tips for meeting people from other countries, for learning other languages and other cultures.
