Welcome Days introduce UMH and salute some 100 incoming students

Close to 100 incoming students participated in the most recent Welcome Days, an annual event that introduces the UMH and salutes their upcoming arrivals at the UMH. This event is organized by the Vice Rectorate for International Relations at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), and this year’s edition took place September 13 – 15, 2022 virtually from 9 – 10:30 a.m. each day for incoming students admitted for the 2022/2023 school year.

Welcome Days features workshops that introduce incoming students to the UMH, they are informed about the services available to them, and they get to meet the university personnel responsible for these services. The students are also informed about the possibilities for finding housing, UMH facilities, sporting and health offers, libraries, cafeterias and restaurants, cultural offerings, etc.

Furthermore, the incoming students learn about the Club Erasmus, which helps them incorporate into the university and introduces them to their classmates for the upcoming school year.

Each day’s program, presentations by speakers, and information about these workshops from previous years is available at the Incoming page on the International Relations blog.
